Alligator Descartes

Alligator Descartes has been an itinerant fiddler with computers from a very early age ruined only by obtaining a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.

Alligator Descartes and David Vickers

In recent years, this fiddling has been directed towards developing pieces of artwork using a variety of software such as 3D Studio MAX, Amapi 3D and POV-Ray. He has also been responsible for the development of several 3D Studio MAX plugins and a plethora of general 3D software to help produce some of the effects in his artwork.

His spare time is spent trudging around Scotland looking for stone circles and Pictish symbol stones to photograph.

Alligator Descartes is not his real name

For samples of his art see http://www.symbolstone.org/art/
